I went shopping last weekend and stocked up on essentials and a few, ahem, non-essential items. Who can resist when everything’s so damn pretty for the new Autumn season?
Anyway, here’s some of what I bought.
I spotted this purse in the shop window of a local store (All That Glitters) and fell in love. Its vibrant pattern and cute dog detail made it an irresistible impulse buy – plus, it’s quite like the pug designs that Ted Baker currently have in, but without the hefty price tag.
Essie nail varnish in shade 99. I love Essie – and this pastel blue shade is ideal for Autumn and workwear outfits.
Hollister jeans are only £39.99 at the moment – stock up! I bought a dark navy super skinny pair. Almost worth it if not purely for the bag eye candy. 😉
Topshop maroon & cream scarf – £18.99.
I really needed a new Autumnal scarf, and this one is perfect. It pairs with black, browns and reds – ideal for a AW2014 palette. It will also look great with jeans and a tote for a super casual look.
White chocolate mousse face mask & Maybelline Baby Lips balm. The face mask is one of my favourites – it smells delicious and is ideal for a quick and cheap pampering session. As for the lip balm, I’m so excited to try this stuff out now that it’s hit UK stores!
Finally, I bought myself some Estee Lauder Double Wear Light foundation. This is easily the best foundation I’ve ever had – I swear by it.
I was running low so decided to stock up, and after the makeup lady got a little carried away when testing two different shades and ended up applying a full face of makeup because she liked my cheekbones, I was only more convinced that this stuff works miracles. Ideal for a sheer coverage that lasts and doesn’t leave you looking orange.
So, that’s it! Hope you enjoyed my little spree. 🙂
