Isn’t it funny how sometimes it feels like nothing is changing – and then suddenly, everything is different. I have such a good feeling about 2017. It feels like things are starting to shift again.
I spent a good few hours earlier this week sorting out my mammoth jewellery collection and came across this old Topshop necklace. It’s about eight years old now – I remember wearing it to meet my favourite band in London as a teenager.
Just because it’s ancient doesn’t mean it won’t look good with a modern black sweater. I think sometimes, we’re far too keen to chuck out the old and replace it with something new and sleek. But there’s nothing wrong with a little vintage glamour every now and then.
