The winner of Westfield’s Food Pop-up will win residency of their own pop-up in the newly-opened expansion of Westfield London, where 90 new shops, cafes, restaurants and entertainment destinations will open across the course of the year.

On the judging panel Omar will be joined by Richard Vines, Bloomberg’s Chief Food Critic, Jonathan Prynn, London Evening Standard’s Consumer Business Editor, Jeremy Pang, founder of School of Wok, Myf Ryan, Westfield UK & Europe’s Chief Marketing Officer and Rachel Belam, Head of Food and Beverage Leasing at Westfield for the event.
Omar Allibhoy, Chef and Founder of Tapas Revolution commented: “My passion for food started when I was very young and growing up I learnt so much from great mentors including Ferran Adrià and Gordon Ramsay.
To be able to provide that same opportunity to someone else would be an honour, it’s important to nurture new talent in the hospitality industry. Westfield’s Food Pop-Up Competition is the perfect platform to launch a chef career, the whole concept could completely change someone’s life and give them the opportunity of a lifetime.”
