Forget beige days – add a touch of bronze to your lids for a striking autumn look
Neutral makeup has a time and a place, but sometimes, it’s good to branch out and go a little bolder. Bronze is an excellent shade for creating something a touch more daring – especially on dull autumn days.
I love Maybelline’s Colour Tattoo 24hr eyeshadow – it’s cream based, and glides on really easily. I always use a light base underneath just to hold it in place before I add any liner too.
Once you’ve got your bronze base good to go, add a slick of liquid liner and don’t be afraid to add a pretty big flick. Go bronze or go home.
I used an Olay BB cream (light) with Estee Lauder’s Double Wear foundation on top. Use what works for you, but I try to use as little foundation as possible – just a touch should be enough, especially for one as thick as Double Wear.
Added some Dior blush in Rose Pink and YSL mascara on top. A good mascara makes all the difference – it’s worth investing in something a little more pricy because the quality will really stand out. MAC do a great mascara range too.
Big eyes mean less lip – I kept things simple and just used a little Carmex on top.
Voila… hope you like!
