Join the chef behind the world’s current number one restaurant for an exciting September residency at the Conduit members club
Hold on to your forks! The talented Massimo Bottura is flying into England’s capital next month for an exciting five-day residency.
Bottura will assist in the launch of the luxurious Conduit members club from 11 – 16 September, with a menu of well-known delights set to tantalise.
For those not already familiar with the culinary guru, Bottura’s triple Michelin-starred restaurant Osteria Francescana restaurant took home the crown for the World’s Best Restaurant list for the second time earlier this year.
The Conduit is hoping to achieve ‘social change’ with its cuisine, with food waste repurposed as biofuel and compost. The 4th floor restaurant features a produce-driven menu courtesy of Merlin Labron-Johnson, one of the youngest chefs to receive a Michelin star for his imaginative, modern cooking.
Bottura will be taking the helm for the first of the club’s quarterly chef residencies, treating guests to an array of his Italian classics such as ‘Oops! I dropped the lemon tart.’
Massimo is firmly committed to addressing the issues of food waste and hunger; together with his non-profit organisation Food for Soul, he founded Refettorio Felix at St Cuthbert’s.
The community kitchen uses surplus ingredients to create meals for those living in socially vulnerable conditions, and part of the proceeds from his residency at The Conduit will go to Food for Soul.
When: 11 – 16 September
How: The residency will be open to members only, but they will be allowed to bring guests. To find out more, click here.
