This April, join Lyle’s for a duo of dinners hosted by Sean Gray and Su Wong Ruiz of Momofuku Ko in NYC
Taking place on Tuesday 24th and Wednesday 25th April, Executive Chef Sean will team up with James and his team to create two one-off menus. They will be joined by front-of-house superstar Su Wong Ruiz, general manager of Ko.
The NYC restaurant is the flagship fine-diner of David Chang’s Momofuku restaurant group, which became famous for serving ramen and pork buns with the opening of Noodle Bar in 2004.
Ko, the tiny, tough to reserve eatery seats only 14 diners at a time, serving a multi course Asian-American tasting menu. It veers away from the traditional nuances of fine dining: the atmosphere is relaxed and casual rather than stuffy, and service is warm and casual.
The restaurant is currently listed #56 in The World’s Best Restaurants and it has two Michelin stars, which it has maintained since 2009.
The menu will be announced on the evening, but expect to find some Momofuku Ko classics on the menu: Uni, Chickpea & Hozon; Razor Clams, Pineapple & Basil; Wild Rice Kombu; and Ko Egg & Caviar. Su will create a special drinks list based on the evening’s menus.

Tickets: £77 for a set menu, excluding drinks and service. Priority tickets are going on sale via Mastercard Priceless Cities on Monday 16th April at 4pm. Remaining tickets go on wide release on Friday 20th April at 4pm.
