On Monday 16th April, Chef Patron Michel Roux Jr is welcoming renowned Chef Giorgio Locatelli for a one-off event to celebrate glorious Italian cuisine
Taking place at his two Michelin-starred restaurant, Le Gavroche, Michel and Giorgio will be joined in the kitchen by Michel’s daughter, Chef Emily Roux and Le Gavroche’s Italian-born Head Chef Diego Ferrari, who will each be creating one dish on the four-course menu.
Alongside a Champagne reception, the restaurant will be delving into its award-winning cellar for some exceptional wines to match each course, specially selected by its team of sommeliers.
Michel Roux Jr commented: “I’m delighted to continue the pop-ups by welcoming Giorgio into our kitchen for the evening. Not only is he a dear friend but he’s also one of the best Italian chefs in the UK, and I know the Italian chefs in my team are thrilled to be able to work with him.”
The menu includes:
• Tartare of red sicilian prawns, jellied consommé and caviar
• Egg yolk raviolo with “vignarola” and truffle
• Rabbit porchetta, artichokes, olives an rocket
• “Cannolo” with gavroche dark chocolate and pink grapefruit
