When it comes to winter and clothing, the more layers, the merrier. Not only is it fun to play with colours, prints and styles, but winter fashion keeps you warm and stylish at the same time.
This was yesterday’s look for work – a pretty much 97% Topshopaholic look.
I paired a high neck long sleeved top with the most incredible pattern (it reminds me a bit of The Shining’s hotel carpet) with a black vest, and added a pair of ripped blue denim jeans.
I’m always wary of wearing shredded denim to work, but as it was a Friday, I went for it. I paired this with a brown New Look belt to bring the colours together, added a maroon Zara bag and finally, a tan coloured Topshop coat. Oh, how I love that coat!
Normally I would add a necklace to a layered outfit like this too, but because of the overwhelming pattern of the top I chose to keep things simple. For details, it was red Essie nails, and a few gold midi rings.
Enjoy! What are your favourite ways to wear winter?
