Led by Eleven’s team of expert guides who know every peak and trail, guests can experience the cycle routes made famous by the Tour de France and white water rafting down the Isère River.
Whether a beginner or expert climber, there is classic Alpine rock climbing to suit every ability, whilst new climbers can build confidence on the via ferrata, a route marked out by steel cable fixed to the rock face.
By day, further adventuring awaits – come sundown, guests can recharge in the freshwater pool, sip wine on the patio overlooking panoramic views, and let award-winning chefs introduce them to tempting regional specialities like tartiflette, paired with the finest French wines.
For something extra special, guests staying at either chalet have exclusive use of Eleven Experience’s private mountain outpost, L’Alpage. After a day out exploring, guests will hike for an hour up into the alpine forest to find the stylishly converted sheep herder’s hut.
Here, the Eleven team will create a unique evening celebration where dinners are cooked over an open fire and a feast of Savoyard specialties such as fondue and raclette are cooked by the chalet’s resident chef.

Getting there: Chalet Hibou and Chalet Pelerin can be reached from Chambery, Geneva or Lyon airports. Alternatively, guests can travel by train, arriving into Lyon or closer still, Bourg St Maurice train stations. Transfers can easily be arranged on request and at an additional cost.
