I always find myself dreaming of beautiful places, whether I’ve been to them or not. Today, I am thinking of Mexico and all its mesmerising madness.
This trip to Cancun last November was one of my favourites. I actually met one of my closest friends on this trip, who I’m adventuring with next weekend.
Such a idyllic destination. The animals, the scenery, that glimmering water. The hotel corridors were actually outside – I remember hearing the chorus of jungle creatures and critters when I walked back to my room at night.
It’s nice to escape every once in a while – even if it’s just inside your head. I’m in Scotland with my older sister at the moment, where it is definitely less dreamy!
