There is really nothing better than a little weekend getaway – especially when it’s with one of your best friends!
I was fortunate enough to stay at the uber elegant Sopwell House for work on Friday and was able to share the experience with one of my oldest friends, which was so lovely.
I loved the charm of the place – it was so traditionally British, and yet sleek at the same time. We were spoiled and treated to our own cottage separate from the main building, which was seriously cool and even had its own log fire. And bass speakers, which we tested out thoroughly with a little bit of house music…
We feasted, we swam, we chilled out. When we drove back, I went straight to dinner with my parents – it feels like I’ve hardly seen them recently!
