Gin-lovers rejoice! New Tanqueray Summer Garden Terrace pops up at The Sipping Room at West India Quay

If you’re looking for a summer escape from the urban jungle of Canary Wharf, head down to Tanqueray’s Summer Garden Terrace for an evening of seasonal gin-sipping.

Located just over the bridge at West India Quay’s Sipping Room, Tanqueray’s summer terrace flourishes with flora and fresh fruit. Enter through an archway of foliage and citrus fruits where you’ll find yourself standing in a garden of greenery, immersed in a summer oasis far removed from the concrete jungle across the pond.

Celebrate the refreshing citrus flavours of Tanqueray no.TEN by attending your very own cocktail masterclass hosted by none other than Diageo Reserve brand ambassador, Nicci Stringfellow.

You’ll learn the history of Tanqueray no.TEN and how to hone in on your cocktail-making skills – just what you need to impress your guests this summer. Using the fresh fruits, herbs and vegetables growing in the garden, you will be totally absorbed in the cocktail-making, citrus-tasting sanctuary of The Sipping Room.

The Menu

With a separate Garden Cocktail menu of Tanquerary’s signature serves, savour the gin-tasting experience with a Sevilla Spritz (Tanqueray Flor de Sevilla, pink grapefruit sherbet, Prosecco) or a Flora Smash (Tanqueray No. TEN, lemon juice, raspberries, cucumber, elderflower syrup, ginger ale).

With over ten bespoke cocktail choices and your very own rosé negroni fountain to fill up your empty glass, you won’t be short of a tipple.

Following the masterclass, fill up from the fountain and enjoy The Sipping Room’s new summer menu of seasonal salads created by acclaimed antipodean chef, restaurateur and food writer, Peter Gordon.

Complimenting the fresh citrus fruits of Tanqueray no.TEN, try the baby beetroot with broad beans, goat’s curd and hazelnuts; kohlrabi with watermelon, tofu, mangetout and candied walnuts or roast cauliflower with seeds, olives, broad beans, peas and olive tapenade.

With vegetarian and vegan options alike, the Tanquerary Summer Garden Terrace is the ideal city sanctuary for anyone wanting to enjoy the long summer nights with style.
