Discover ‘Days Out At Lucknam’ in Wiltshire

Lucknam Park is reopening its doors on 12 April with al fresco dining, spa days including treatments and a host of outdoor experiences to be enjoyed within 500 acres of beautiful gardens and parkland

Next month will see the launch of ‘Days Out at Lucknam Park’, allowing guests to discover this idyllic pocket of Wiltshire countryside and roam the hotel’s magnificent gardens just in time to admire the plethora of spring bulbs in bloom from striking tulips and delicate hyacinths to cheerful daffodils.

The team at Lucknam Park has carefully curated a selection of day packages which showcase the hotel’s facilities including the spa, equestrian centre and outdoor family activities. Each of the packages includes a seasonal lunch on the bloom-filled terrace at The Brasserie.

For those that have missed their spa fix over the last few months, Lucknam Park’s three spa day packages firmly place self-pampering back on the agenda.

The Secluded Escape package includes a 60-minute treatment from an extensive menu of personalised ESPA body and face treatments, whilst Saddle and Spa provides the opportunity for guests to explore the wonderful Wiltshire countryside on horseback, trotting through pastures and meadows brimming with spring flowers during an hour long hack.

Finally, Rejuvenate & Reconnect allows guests to take part in a unique Equine Connect experience. Equine Connect is a holistic, experiential and highly specialised form of therapy that incorporates working with horses and examining their body language to help alleviate anxiety and learn how to reconnect with oneself as well as within personal relationships.

For families, Lucknam Park’s vast estate is perfect for creating treasured childhood memories in the great outdoors.

The Sunday Family Day Out package allows families to try a new country pursuit such as archery and clay pigeon shooting alongside countryside cycling, woodland walks, croquet and tennis. Meanwhile, the Children’s Activity Day experience is especially designed for little riding enthusiasts, with a pony ride followed by access to the thrilling outdoor play area.

In addition to ‘Days Out’ packages, Lucknam Park will relaunch their popular picnic hampers filled with seasonal gourmet fare to be enjoy within the grounds. Guests can also indulge in al fresco cream teas and BBQs within the bountiful parkland and classical gardens. The Brasserie will be open for al fresco dining.

Try an exclusive cottage stay

Nestled within Lucknam Park’s gardens are three charming country cottages: Keeper’s (3 bedrooms), Squire’s (4 bedrooms) and  Thatcher’s (3 bedrooms), which will reopen on 12 April as self-catered accommodation.

All are uniquely designed featuring marble bathrooms, underfloor heating, well equipped kitchens, exposed wooden beams and private gardens.

For those looking to get away with their loved ones, the cottages offer all the advantages of a luxury home, with the added benefit of world-class facilities. Little Lucknam guests are provided with their very own luxury furnishings, with cots and extra beds readily available.
