5 Skincare Saviours

Lately, I’ve been making a real effort to take care of my skin – and it’s really starting to pay off. It’s clearer, brighter and a lot less puffy than it used to be – here’s five of the reasons behind it.

1 Ditch the diet soda
I used to drink a lot (by which I mean an obscene amount) of Diet Coke and Pepsi Max. I’ve since cut all of it out of my diet and have SUCH a difference in my face looking less puffy – with less lines around my eyes too.

2 Drink the ocean instead
Instead, I’ve been getting acquainted with the old fashioned H20. Try drinking eight glasses a day, at least. More if you workout – which brings me to my next tip.

3 Sweat a little bit
I think exercise is a big factor in boosting the natural glow of your skin. I workout most mornings and have found it’s a great antidote for late nights with work. Hello, energy!

4 If in doubt, moisturise
Rather than focusing on expensive brands or name tags, focus on taking your makeup off each night and applying a layer of moisturiser instead. I use Bioderma’s Sébium
Global, which is effortlessly great and only £11.

5 The hot towel effect
Once a week, run a towel under very hot water and press it to your face for 30 seconds. It works wonders for opening pores and adding a dewier, rosy glow.
