27 Foodie Ways To Spend Valentine’s Day In Lockdown

All’s fair in love and lockdown. Valentine’s Day date night ideas might be looking a little different this year, but that doesn’t mean romance is off the cards (or menu).

From DIY meal kits to swoon-worthy supper ideas, don an apron (or your dressing gown, this is lockdown after all) for a delicious Valentine’s date night at home

1 Order Claridge’s at Home menus

This year the course(s) of true love shall run smooth with Claridge’s made-to-share Valentine’s Day Claridge’s at Home menus – delivering all the romance of The Foyer and Reading Room directly to you.

Settle in for Afternoon Tea, where delicate finger sandwiches are followed by artfully crafted patisserie by Jérôme Chaucesse and his team. Expect blush pink rhubarb and vanilla religieuse, and Valrhona chocolate brownie, crowned with hearts. Of course, this timeless tradition wouldn’t be complete without Claridge’s Blend tea and scones accompanied by Cornish clotted cream and Marco Polo gelée.

And, while bringing loved ones to Claridge’s is off the cards this 14 February, Claridge’s is bringing Valentine’s Day to you instead. The dinner menu is a three-course feast of signature dishes: Claridge’s seafood cocktail or ballotine of foie gras to start, and a showstopping main course of Beef or Lobster Wellington.

How: Both menus are available from 11-14 February. Order by 2pm for next-day delivery or collection, via claridges-stvalentinesday.slerp.com
