1 Sip at Trishna’s Summer Terrace


Michelin-starred Indian restaurant Trishna has announced the launch of its annual Summer Terrace, in collaboration with Tanqueray Gin, and the world’s first non-alcoholic distillery, Seedlip.

They have also partnered with renowned florist, Jane Packer Flowers, to host a series of Indian Summer floristry workshops at the Marylebone restaurant.

Enjoy an eclectic menu encompassing six signature cocktails all utilising either Tanqueray Gin or Seedlip and combining quintessential British ingredients and the fragrant botanicals, with an added Indian twist.

Trishna has also teamed up with local Marylebone florist Jane Packer Flowers, who will host a series of half-day Indian Summer workshops at their shop on George Street to celebrate the warmer days and nights.

Each event will allow guests to create a beautiful hand-tied bouquet inspired by the colours of a hot Indian summer, with help and guidance from the Jane Packer team – followed by a delicious cocktail at the terrace.

2 Quench your thirst with The Longflint Drinks Co.


The Longflint Drinks Co., producers of natural botanical handmade craft drinks, is landing in Shoreditch this summer for a six-week bar residency with DJs, collaboration launches, meet the maker sessions and a program of natural drinking workshops.

The space on Rivington Street, best known as The Red Galleries, will be transformed into a botanical playground.  With £5 handmade craft drinks being served daily during the six-week residency, DJ’s four nights a week, a packed program of drink making workshops and a series of limited edition drink collaborations with like-minded small producers available to purchase, the residency is a must visit venue this summer.

3 Graze with M Restaurants


M Restaurants will be partnering with the annual Chesterton’s Polo in the Park festival at The Hurlingham Club from 8-10 June. In the “Grazing Paddock” the pop-up M restaurant will showcase chef Mike Reid’s signature international style with a menu that forefronts top-quality ingredients from around the world.

Dishes include a Tuna taco featuring mango salsa, kewpie mayonnaise, rock samphire, pickled & crispy shallots; Chicken Karaage with a chilli glaze, nori emulsion and fermented daikon or a Wood cooked rib eye steak sandwich with liquid cheese, pickles, nduja BBQ sauce.

PLUS: On each of the three days there will also be an exclusive opportunity for ten diners to enjoy a ‘Chef’s Table’ lunch hosted by the Executive Chef himself.

4 Jam at the Seven Dials Soundtrack

Experience all the fun of a festival for free at Seven Dials Soundtrack, with an impressive line-up curated by  Citadel Festival, including London native singer-songwriter Rukhsana Merrise, The Voice finalists Into the Ark, alternative indie group Pumarosa and vintage-inspired rocker Ten Tonnes with more acts to be announced soon. 

For one day only, each of the seven interconnecting streets will be traffic free with the iconic pop-up lawn around the dial where visitors can relax and enjoy the open-air stage. There will be alfresco dining, promotions and discounts and free activities throughout the streets.  Music to our ears!

5 Say yes please to a G&T at El Pirata

El Pirata in Mayfair is delighted to announce a new Gin & Tonic menu, just in time for summer. Spain has completely fallen in love with gin, holding the title for the largest Gin drinking country in Europe – and with this in mind, El Pirata is introducing four new Spanish Gins.

These include: Larios 12 (£3.70) the bestselling Gin in Spain made using 12 botanicals, and Nordes (£5.50) a Galician gin inspired by the northerly Atlantic wind made using pomace from Albarino grapes. 

Also new to the menu is Puerto de Indias (£4.50) – a premium Gin made in Sevilla at one of the oldest distilleries in Andalucía.  This Gin comes in two versions; strawberry with wild juniper berries and strawberries the Pure Black Edition with floral notes. There’s also a selection of tipples from around the world to try.

6 Get Sassy at St. Pancras Renaissance Hotel London


The Sassy Cidre Pop-Up is set to be an exciting summer haunt, combining the best features of a sophisticated cocktail bar at one of London’s most iconic hotels. Promising a range of exquisite cocktails, a stunning floral aesthetic and a friendly, vibrant atmosphere, Sassy Cidre are redefining the way we drink cider.

The French premium cider brand will be inviting Londoners into their unique and magical world of handcrafted cider, by popping up St. Pancras Renaissance’s first ever cider bar complete with a floral installation.

Each month, Sassy Cidre will be partnering with a different alcohol brand to create innovative cocktails at the pop-up.  June sees them pair with Suze & Lillet (Pernod Ricard), followed by St. Germain in July and Belvedere in August.

Think French Negronis, Summer Spritz’s other floral cocktails. And if that’s not enough to get excited about, they’ve got loads lined up to entertain you and your friends. Look forward to live performances from budding French artists, as well as masterclasses in flower arranging, cocktail making and even yoga.

8 Go bottomless at Aster

9 Get critical at temper City


Swapping air-conditioned offices for the flames of the six-metre-long grill at Neil Rankin’s temper City, some of the UK’s top food writers will be feeling the heat as Too Many Critics returns to London for its thirtieth edition on Sunday 8th July 2018.

Watch the tables turn as critics Bill Knott (FT’s How to Spend It), Adam Hyman (CODE Hospitality), Tracey MacLeod (The Independent), Joe Warwick (Where Chefs Eat) and Hugh Thompson (Delicious Magazine) tackle temper City’s live fire kitchen.

Under the watchful gaze of a room full of chefs and restauranteurs, the critics will certainly be feeling the pressure as they cook up a bespoke storm for 140 guests.

As the critics sweat in the kitchen, Nigel Barden will host an citing live and silent auction with the opportunity to bid on and win exclusive prizes including art, European getaways and bespoke chef masterclasses.

All funds raised on the night will go directly towards Action Against Hunger’s work in nearly 50 countries worldwide.

16 Go vegan at ROKA

ROKA is launching its first ever all Vegan Tasting Menu, which is also gluten free. With many guest’s dietary requirements often a medical necessity, or otherwise a moral choice, ROKA were eager to adapt their menus to accommodate the life choices of their guests as much as possible.

Veganism’s references as a bland or simplistic dining option are a thing of the past thanks to the colourful array of options that the ROKA team have created. Sharing platters will continue to take a focal point on the menu, but a myriad of diverse dishes and all important vegan-friendly desserts are set to breathe new life into this dining destination.  

Dishes include the likes of: grilled tofu with shiitake mushrooms, lemon and chilli; rice toban with japanese mushrooms, mountain vegetables and shaved truffle; peanut, vanilla and chocolate sundae with poki sticks and banana tempura.
